Kinder Republic, Sri Lanka's first and only Democratic School, is a safe space where children work together to communicate, negotiate, mediate conflict, think critically and ideate creatively - each in their own unique ways, and at their own pace. 

Since 2021, we have witnessed the magic that happens when children are trusted rather than controlled, supported rather than directed, and believed rather than belittled. True "නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපනය".

We are open on weekends and school holidays for children enrolled in mainstream schools, and throughout the year for homeschooled/unschooled children.
